My husband and I lived at Namwianga Mission in Zambia for five years from 2005 until April, 2010. This blog began as a chronicle of our time there. We are now back in the United States and living in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. I am still connected with the work at Namwianga and still post now and then about something related to Namwianga or Africa, and sometimes a personal update.
We are having a hard time getting time and access on the internet. You can get some general updates on the work of the Zambia Medical Mission at www.zmm2005.blogspot.com. We'll try for more on this blog as soon as we can.
When you don't have internet where you are staying, it IS very difficult. Once your house is finished and you have your satellite setup, it should go much smoother.
The idea to update all of us with a blog is a good one. We'll be patient and enjoy the posts as you are able to make them.
May God richly bless you and smooth your path as you get started in your work there.
