My husband and I lived at Namwianga Mission in Zambia for five years from 2005 until April, 2010. This blog began as a chronicle of our time there. We are now back in the United States and living in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. I am still connected with the work at Namwianga and still post now and then about something related to Namwianga or Africa, and sometimes a personal update.
David cooked our Christmas chicken outside in a Dutch oven. Delicious! We also had corn, black-eyed peas, and strawberries, all from our garden. And the electricity stayed on all day so we were able to talk to our kids in the US.

Glad your Christmas had electricity and you were able to talk with your children! I think Kelsey is ready to go somewhere where there is no snow and warmer weather!
Merry White(and really White - 14 inches worth of snow!) Christmas from Oklahoma!
Merry Christmas to you and David! We think of you all often and keep in touch by reading up on your blog almost daily. Our families continue to receive blessings from the time we were there. It seems sometimes that Haleigh remembers every single thing that happened there every day. Praise God!
Looking forward to seeing you again. Our Lord's blessings on you and your work there in the coming year.
