My husband and I lived at Namwianga Mission in Zambia for five years from 2005 until April, 2010. This blog began as a chronicle of our time there. We are now back in the United States and living in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. I am still connected with the work at Namwianga and still post now and then about something related to Namwianga or Africa, and sometimes a personal update.
I thought our days of dodging farm animals in the road were over. But when I went for a jog near my mother-in-law's house, this pig ambled across the road in front of me. Made me a little homesick...

James Estes and I got a good laugh out of your lists! It's strange not having you here. We are missing having big dinners at your place. (But Harold did make your taco soup last night, which was quite a treat!)
